On Friday 19th June, I went on Becky Beinart’s Field kitchen wild food hunt as part of the Laboratory of Insurrectionary Imagination’s CRASH contingency course at the 2 degrees festival http://www.artsadmin.co.uk/events/event.php?id=637. Few that was a mouthful, but not as much of a mouthful as the nettle and lime leaf burgers that we cooked up with sea purslane and sea lettuce as seasoning.

Becky has made a bespoke bicycle trailer which is a complete kitchen and she cycled round London for 5 days, each day starting out at Bank and cycling in a different direction to find wild food and cook it up. It was an amazing experience.
